Restorative Partner Yoga
I recently completed my Restorative Partner Yoga training with Bodhi Yoga. The Bodhi Yoga approach includes a blending of Ayurvedic Marma Point Therapy, 10-Sense Energy Line Therapy, and Partner Yoga that interlace to create a restorative, meditative, and healing experience.
In Restorative Partner Yoga, you are the "receiver/passive yogi" and I am the "giver/active yogi." With you starting in Corpse Pose, I move your body into different yoga poses and help you go deeper in those poses, while doing poses myself—though more active ones. I give special attention to Marma Points (spots where -in Aryuveda Medicine— the body and spirit lace together) and the 10-Sense Energy Lines (lines of energy that connect the Marmas and chakras) as we work from your feet to your head. We end with a Savasana and an "OM."
The intention is to have your body, mind, and spirit more aligned and yoga-d...aka yoked.
NEXT CLASS: Restorative Partner Yoga Class at YOGACENTRAL in Valdosta, GA on Feb 10, 2:30pm-4pm
