The link below is an essay I have been working on for the last six months. I'm sure there will be other editions after this one, but it was aching to be birthed, so here it is, dear friends who read. I hope it is helpful for you on your journey. xoxo, anna

I've found greater meaning and purpose in my sacred role as a mother and wife in the context of the gospel of Jesus Christ since I learned of the significance of my role in the Abrahamic Covenant. For without righteous mothers and fathers teaching their children the gospel throughout each generation, all is but lost. Without the covenants and promises therein, there is no reason, no purpose, no meaning to life, no need for the Plan of Salvation, nor any reason for a Savior and Redeemer, because there would be no hope for any of us. When this understanding was realized, I wanted all women to know and understand clearly, this vital purpose for their calling! This eternal perspective changes EVERYTHING! No longer am I a cog in the wheel of the mundane. Instead, I see that I am empowered by my priesthood ordinances to enact any needed blessing for myself or my family in teaching, spiritially protecting, empowering and raising my children in truth. This truly is the work of Queens and Priestesses as we truly work hand in hand with God raising a righteous posterity in His name! It's no small feat, and it's one of utmost importance with eternal consequences.
"American culture" is not truth, it's only one wordly perspective of thousands; one taken from a blip in American culture that the adversary uses to belittle and effectively extinguish the very real importance of mothers -and fathers- for God's eternal purposes in His kingdom. But, of course he's going to do this in an effort to hamper the growth of God's kingdom on earth and drag His precious daughters and sons to misery.
Another thought I'd like to share, is that Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ and the Holy Ghost are "one"; one in purpose, thought, deed, direction. The New Testiment teaches that the earth was created by "The Gods". My freshman seminary teacher taught us that this included Heavenly Mother. If the Godhead is one, and Heavenly Father and Mother are one in the context of the commandment that man and wife are to be one, then I am extremely confident that the will and purposes of the Godhead is also the will and purposes of Heavenly Mother, and that she works in partnership with Him. All godly attributes can and should be credited to both of our heavenly parents. In this regard, we have grown up being taught how to be like our Heavenly Mother. That being, by being like our Heavenly Father and His son, because that's what she has become as well. When I see the beauty of nature, I see science, math, art, love, charity, faith, parience, hope and many other godly attributes backing every creation, undoubtedly made in partnership by Gods -male and female.
I fear that the worldly definition of feminism detracts significantly from the pure and undefiled role of which we have been made stewards; that as co-creators with our spouse and God.
This knowledge gives me confidence in His presence and in my spiritual and temporal roles as wife, mother, grandmother, daughter of God, teacher of the gospel of Jesus Christ in any capacity, bread winner, and eternal student. This is who I am.

P.S. Apologies, may I also add that you're wonderful, and thank you for your essay. I'm sure it will increase understanding for many.
Pres. Nelson noted 3 sections of the D&C to study in furthering our understanding of the Priesthood (which you may have noted) in Oct. 2019 Women's Broadcast.

Musings on engaging in yoga and yoga-esque perspectives and activities while in the midst of daily living. I still very much consider myself a beginner and hope I am not too presumptuous in offering my thoughts. If you ever feel to respond or share, I will be so glad to witness your sharing.

My quest is to Nurture Divinity. My own divinity, my children’s divinity, the divinity of those around me, and of my environment. I hope that these little blips will add to your own journey to uncover and embody your divinity.
